PWInsider reported that a couple of segments ran a long time in the previous night's Monday Night Raw episode. And as a result, some of the segments had their time cut in the show.
PWInsider also noted that the segments which run long were the EDGE - Miz and Maryse segment and other segments were the contracts sighing between Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan.
WWE does it for promoting the Raw Women's Championship in next week's event.
As we see earlier in the show that WWE tried to push the envelope for those two segments with references to the MJF - CM Punk segment from AEW Dynamite and Liv Morgan saying that Ruby Soho and Sarah Logan were released because of Becky Lynch’s high contract and WWE right now lack of money.
FrightFul reported that there were some people in and out of the company who were not thrilled about the WWE releases being used in a storyline in WWE.
