The WWE Championship is in the line for WWE Day 1

The WWE World Championship match is already set for WWE Day 1  pay-per-view which will occur in Atlanta.

In the opening of the Raw episode, Seth Rolling said that he will be challenging Big E for the WWE World Championship in WWE Day 1 pay-per-view. It was interrupted by Finn Bálor who was upset by Seth Rolling for attacking Crowley in the previous episode. 

After the main event show of Raw between Big E and Kevin Owens which is disqualified by Seth Rolling (for the disqualification Kevin Owens won the match). And now Owens added on this match and make it a triple threat match for the WWE Championship. Two weeks ago EDGE returns on RAW and during his promo, The Miz interrupted him and challenged him in the Day 1 match. 

On SmacDown's 972 episodes The New Day challenged The SmackDown Tag Team Champion The Usos.

In the previous episode of RAW Bobby Lashley was added to The WWE Championship match by bitting Seth Rolling, Kevin Owens, and the WWE Champion Big E. On the same night, Liv Morgan challenge Backy Lynch for the RAW Women's Championship, and after that Backy attacked LIv's hand badly.

In the recent SmackDown episode, Sami challenged Shinsuke for the International Championship.
